Herpetological Surveys

We hosted herpetologists Rayna Bell from Cornell University and Bryan Stuart from the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in October 2013. They completed a week-long inventory of reptiles and amphibians on Lake Oguemoué and collected specimens for the museum. They have created reptile and amphibian ID cards for our site. They hired members of our team at Tsam Tsam to lead nighttime surveys in the forest and to identify reptile and amphibian species. Our team has now incorporated this knowledge into guided tours at Tsam Tsam.
